The process of applying veneers is simple and minimally invasive. In order to prepare your natural tooth to receive a veneer, a little of the outer enamel may need to be removed. This preparation is carried out using a local anesthetic so that you don’t experience any discomfort. However, once some enamel has been removed, that tooth will always need a veneer since enamel cannot regenerate.

Once the tooth has been prepared, we will take an impression of the tooth. This will be used to create your veneer which is glazed in a shade to match your existing teeth, ensuring that the restoration blends in seamlessly. You will be fitted with a temporary veneer until your custom-designed one has been created. You can then return to our offices to have the temporary version removed and your new veneer cemented permanently into place.
